Brian Belin

A Virginia native, Brian Belin Sr. grew up in Norfolk VA. He is a people person with a positive outlook on life. At 31 years of age, he decided it was time for a change. In 1999, he humbled himself and move to Atlanta, GA with his faith, prayer and only 20 dollars. Brian utilized The Atlanta Union Mission program and was able to move into an apartment a year later. With hard work and sacrifice he later purchased his first home, married and had his youngest son. Having a total of five kids, including his blended family, there was always a vision. This vision is for his children and all young adults. With that vision,  Brian Belin Sr and Brian Belin Jr. started Alpha and Omega Youth foundation. Helping young men develop life skills, self confidence and maturity. Brian Jr  showed determination and leadership to his classmates and friends. March of 2021, Brian Belin Jr was butally murdered. Shot multiple times by a young adult he knew and worked with. Through the pain,  grief and in honor  Brian Perry Belin Jr., 21Skoop Youth Foundation was created. The foundation is a place that fosters change in the community against gun violence. 21Skoop Youth Foundation mentors young men by providing hands on trade skills. Those trades are: assisting the elderly with repairs, lawncare and carpentry. The foundation recently participated in the Bobby Tillman 5k run raising $460 dollars in donations. Provided 5 portable tents to St James AME Church for the elderly. Also currently working hands on providing carpentry work. It is our goal to stop gun violence and continue to be the change we want to see while honoring Brian Jr's life.
